A Woman’s Place is an original eight part docu-series created by XX founders Kassidy Brown and Allison Rapson. In the series travel around the world and embed themselves with young female revolutionaries, leaders and activists who are creatively addressing the most pressing women’s issue in their country. In the eight part episodic series, Kassidy and Allison explore how feminism is being expressed in each country and culture. The series is exclusively hosted on Refinery29 and is executive produced by former NBCUniversal exec Lauren Zalaznick.
Continuing in the success of the release of the Refinery29 series, “A Woman’s Place,” We are the XX co-founders will bring their expertise and knowledge from traveling around the world meeting with female revolutionaries, leaders and activists to the stage. The speaking tour will expose female youth culture and the new frontier of leadership, country by country.
Picture Motion is working with the film team to launch and execute an extensive, We are the XX speaking tour. Each event will be tailored to different audiences including high schools, college campuses, conferences, and corporate events and will explore how feminism is expressed in eight different countries.
